The party has demanded that 472 activists of BNP have been arrested after the announcement of the eleventh parliamentary election schedule. BNP has submitted a list of the Election Commission (EC).
The list was submitted to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda at around 11am on Friday (November 16th). BNP central office information collector A three-member delegation led by Salahuddin Khan submitted the list to the EC.

The National Unity Forum held a meeting with the Election Commission on Wednesday. In the meeting, the Election Commission asked the leaders and names of the arrested people to submit their list after the schedule. The letter said that after the announcement of the eleventh Jatiya Sangsad election on November 8, police arrested 472 leaders and activists from across the country, including BNP's Nayapaltan central office and adjacent areas. It is to be noted that according to the re-election of the Election Commission, the national election will be held on December 30. On the last day of submission of nomination papers on 28th November, the day of selection of nomination papers is December 2 and the last date for withdrawal of candidacy is fixed on 9th December.
